Giant Log Cabin

A giant log cabin quilt top is on my design wall.  There are 2 each of fun colors.  The center square was made by Sara.
This will make a cute baby quilt.

Two New Comfort Quilts

I made the top for this one and Rina added the borders.
Rina had the names put on in the center of both these quilts. We sandwiched both of them together and now Rina is doing the final quilting on them.

My Window

I've needed to do something with the window in my sewing room for a long time.  So I finally did it.
This is before
And this is after.
I didn't want to cover all of the window because I like to watch the birds take baths in my little watering pool.
It makes me very happy when I enter my sewing room now.

Girls Day Out Part 2

We first traveled to our favorite long arm quilter, Rebekah Reiheimer in Har Gilo. Her # is 02 993 4744.  She is very talented, friendly and a very warm person.
Ruth brought her latest top to be machine quilted.

While we were there Rebekah gave us a tour of her quilt machine and some of her work.

Girls Day Out

Yesterday, 7/17/17 we met for our regular quilting get together.  This time we made a day of it.  We did get some work done, then we went to visit our favorite long arm quilter, then to lunch, followed by a visit to Budrutz for some fabric shopping.
We completed our day with a trip to Kever Rochel to say Tehillim and Daven. We had a great time and look forward to our next Girls Day Out.
A big thank you to Rina who did all the driving!!!
Sara did some squaring up of her latest blocks.
She showed us breast feeding aprons that she is making for gifts to new mothers.

Sara also completed more mug rugs.

Rina is finishing some pink quilt tops.  You may see the same fabric in more than on quilt top.

Renee finished her butterfly quilt top.
More about our trip to follow tomorrow.
