Antique Sewing Machine

Our mission to make quilts should never be curtailed by something as mundane a power failure.   My hubby inherited a beautiful Singer treadle sewing machine from his grandmother when she passed away in 1967.  We believe it to have been about 60 years old then making it over a 100 years old, today.  It still works.  It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the modern day sewing machine, but to the avid quilter (me) it gives peace of mind should there be a power failure.
Notice the 100 year old dust at the bottom.  OK, I need to clean it up a little.  By the way, we haven't had a power failure in years since they put in the new power station in Betar Illit.
